• Image is blurry

  Please use the focus ring on the top of projector to sharpen the image.
  
  

• Remote control doesn't work

  Please press and hold both Volume+ and Volume- buttons of the remote simutaneously while close to your projector.
  Once the red LED starts flashing quickly, the remote is paired successfully with projector.
  
  

• How to connect your smart device to the Beam mini projector in EZCast mode?

  1. Connect your smart device to the Beam projector Wi-Fi by choosing the Beam's SSID in the Wi-Fi list of your device.
  2. Launch the EZCast app > Click the arrow down icon on top-right corner > Search your dongle's SSID > Connect.

• How to connect Beam projector to internet-enabled Wi-Fi network?

  1. Connect your smart device to the Beam projector Wi-Fi by choosing the Beam's SSID in the Wi-Fi list of your device and enter the password nearby SSID.
  2. Launch the EZCast app > Click the arrow down icon on top-right corner > Search your dongle's SSID > Connect.
  3. Go back to app’s home page, click the hamburger icon on the top-left corner >Settings > Internet, then choose select the Wi-Fi network and enter the password of router.

• How to upgrade the firmware of Beam projector?

  Please connect your Beam projector to the internet, then go back to the projector home screen, and click Settings > Firmware upgrade (OTA mode) to upgrade the firmware to the latest vesion.

• The image is not rectangular

  If the image is not rectangular, please go to Advanced setting and follow the steps below:
  Basic keystone: Open auto V. Keystone, and adjust the H. Keystone until the image is rectangular.
  Advanced keystone: Turn off auto V. Keystone, and adjust the V. Keystone and H. Keystone until the image is rectangular.
  If image is still not perfect, use 4 Corner Correction to adjust the corners individually

• Auto image calibration doesn't make my image rectangular

  If the image is not rectangular after auto image calibration, please go to Advanced setting/Keystone Calibration to calibrate the image again:
  1. Turn off Auto V. Keystone.
  2. Place projector on a level surface, then turn on Keystone Calibration (it would be active to calibrate, then turns itself off).
  3. Turn on Auto V. Keystone again.

• How can I reset the projector?

  There are two ways to reset:
  1.Go to Settings > Reset All to reset the projector.
  2.While the projector is powered on, use a pin to click Reset button (inside the hole near the power button) to see the “Reset all settings” message. It will reset after a 5 second countdown.

• What type of cable do I need for EZWire PC?

  You need a cable with USB type A male on both ends to connect PC to Beam projector.

• Can't read pdf/doc files in my device

  Beam projector doesn't support pdf and doc files.
  Please open the files on your phone or laptop and screen mirror to the projector.

• Can't read my USB flash drive.

  Beam projector doesn't support USB drives larger than 256GB.

• Do I need to purchase an EZCast 2 or EZCast 4K dongle to screen mirror from my phone to Beam mini projector?

  The Beam mini projector has built-in screen mirroring over wire and Wi-Fi.
  An external EZCast dongle is not required to screen mirror from your smart phones.
